Flapjack’s dreamed world of Candy Island is the Candy Kingdom. The Land of Ooo is on the other side of the world from Stormalong. That’s where Finn’s human family is. He’s Flapjack’s long-lost brother: they’re both blonde, wear hats, aspired to lives of adventure. Finn somehow got lost at sea as a baby and ended up in Ooo. When his parents later had Flapjack, they were convinced they were unfit to have another son and that something bad would happen to this one too, so they left him on the docks in the hopes that he would be adopted by better parents/a whale.
